The Program Operations (PO) team ensures that PYN’s programmatic and operational strategies are implemented with fidelity and supported through the planned lifecycle. As a conduit for local, regional, and national best practices, the PO team integrates a continuous improvement approach to ensure that programs are managed, operated, and evaluated at a high-level, enhancing and strengthening the impact of programming on youth in Philadelphia. The PO team works in partnership with stakeholders who invest in the youth workforce system and sub-contractors who directly serve the youth.

Director, Information Services

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Director of Information Systems manages staff and overall technical delivery to ensure stable operation of PYN’s IS portfolio. The Director leads a team of professionals who work in a variety of disciplines including Systems, Network Administration, Database Administration, Web Design, Application Development, and Business Intelligence. The Director works hands on within Infrastructure disciplines and supports the network/systems operations of PYN.

Project Manager, Continuous Improvement (OST)

The Project Manager, Continuous Improvement (PMCI) will design and implement high quality training, professional development and technical assistance for partners and direct service providers connected to the Department of Health and Human Services (DHS). Training will be focused on helping service providers move PYN’s Career Development Framework (CDF) from theory to practice. This work will be done in close collaboration with DHS. The PMCI, in conjunction with the Manager, Program Learning & Development, will collaborate with internal and external teams to align, translate and use data to inform program practice and decision making. Based on ongoing feedback and communication the PMCI will iterate on PD and TA offerings to meet DHS provider needs. The PMCI will work with providers to identify areas of CDF and program alignment, and, areas where alignment and program quality could be increased. They will then in turn design and deliver professional development and offer resources to augment programming.

Senior Business Partnership Specialist

The Partnerships for Employment Pathways department collaborates with partners locally, regionally and nationally to support career-connected education and employment pathway opportunities for youth and young adults. We do this by engaging the regional business community to understand their current and future talent needs and connect them to initiatives, programs and opportunities that develop a true talent pipeline of Philadelphia residents. In addition, we strive to achieve excellence in worksite quality across PYN initiatives and use innovative approaches in the direct management of youth workforce opportunities.

Web Application Developer

The Web Application Developer supports online initiatives of the Organization’s Information Systems Unit.  It is this employee’s responsibility to create and maintain all organizational websites.
