Provider Specialist (Temporary)

The Summer Provider Specialist is part of a seasonal team that offers support to providers and youth who participate in PYN Summer Programming on behalf of WorkReady Philadelphia. The Provider Specialist will be primarily responsible for the oversight of all contractor (provider) administrative and programmatic requirements related to the successful implementation of the WorkReady Summer program.  This position requires a flexible schedule beginning March through August.

WorkReady External Assessor

PYN is seeking External Assessors to conduct research observations throughout the WorkReady portfolio of programs during the Summer 2019 program season. The External Assessor’s primary responsibility is to observe and assess programs using the Weikart Youth Program Quality Assessment (YPQA), an evidence-based assessment tool that focuses on four key areas of positive youth development: safe environment, supportive environment, peer interaction, and youth engagement. YPQ assessments are a part of a continuous improvement process WorkReady uses to ensure programs implement best practices needed to build high-quality programs. All External Assessors will receive supplemental training to properly utilize the tool for data collection and scoring. The External Assessor will also make note of other critical issues impacting program quality.

Program Quality Coach (Temporary)

The Program Quality Coach is part of a seasonal team designed to ensure that summer employment programming on behalf of WorkReady is implemented with fidelity to our program models. Coaches will prepare, coach and support providers to provide high quality work readiness experiences for youth. This position begins with part-time work in April then becomes full-time in June and runs through August. This position requires a flexible schedule, the ability to work some evenings and weekends, and frequent travel throughout Philadelphia.

Program Quality Coach Coordinator (Temporary)

The Summer Program Quality Coach Coordinator (SPCC) leads a seasonal team designed to ensure that summer employment programming on behalf of WorkReady is implemented with fidelity to our program models.  The Coordinator will work with the Manager, Program Learning and Development to design the summer coaching plan. This will include scheduling, learning plan development, workshops and training and supervision of Summer Program Coaches. The SPCC will own the administrative and programmatic aspects for the seasonal team. He/She will ensure that his/her staff is prepared to support 60+ contractors to provide high quality work readiness experiences for youth. This position begins with part-time work in April then becomes full-time in June and runs through August. This position requires a flexible schedule, the ability to work some evenings and weekends, and frequent travel throughout Philadelphia.

Professional Development Facilitator

The Professional Development Facilitator is part of a seasonal team designed to support the Professional Development portion of the WorkReady summer internship model. Facilitators will be primarily responsible for ensuring that youth have a space to reflect on their summer work experience, while developing the skills needed to be successful in their workplace. They will be required to work collaboratively with others to conduct activities, facilitate discussions and guide students through completion of program elements.
