Explore PYN's newest programs designed to provide career exposure opportunities for youth in 5th - 8th grade.
Two Programs - One Mission
Hosted in partnership with the School District of Philadelphia, PYN's Ignite Afterschool program provides a career exposure focused afterschool enrichment club that take place 4 days a week. Our fun, hands-on curriculum is focused on project based learning and early career exposure in 3 distinct areas, STEM, sports, and the arts.

Funded through a national 21st Century Learning Centers Grant, PYN's Career Connected Learning Out-of-School Time (OST) Programs are full week (M-F) afterschool and summer academic enrichment programs fostering fun and engaging environments for dynamic career-connected, academic, and social-emotional learning opportunities.

Afterschool Enrichment Activities - Homework help, sports, art, performing arts, gaming, STEM, teambuilding, and more!
Project Based Career Exposure + Awareness - learn about various career paths, industries, jobs, and post-secondary pathways through hands-on activities and real-world projects.
Financial Literacy - Explore the basics of financial literacy through engaging hands-on games, activities, and team projects.
Interactive Workshops - Participate in engaging workshops that bring career awareness and professional skills building to to life.
Mentorship - Connect with experienced mentors who will guide afterschool activities and skills building focused on career exposure and awareness .
Field Trips + Industry Tours - Visit local businesses and organizations to see careers in action.
Guest Speakers - Hear from industry experts and get insider tips on how to succeed.
Academic Support - Receive help in core subjects like English language arts to boost your academic performance.
Family Engagement - Benefit from resources, learning opportunities, culturally relevant community celebrations, and stronger school-home connections.
