PHILADELPHIA (September 30, 2015) – The Philadelphia Youth Network (PYN) announced the appointment of two Board Members, Jeffrey Brown (former Vice Chair) as the Board Chair and Stephanie Wall (board member) as Vice Chair.
Jeffrey Brown, President and CEO of Brown’s Super Stores, who operates eleven ShopRite Supermarkets in the Philadelphia region, has been a PYN Board Member since 2004. Mr. Brown brings more than 25 years of extensive expertise in the supermarket industry, executive management and the investment community to PYN. He replaces Pamela Gallimore, who is stepping down as Chair, having led the Board since 2012.
“I am excited and proud to lead such a dynamic group of professionals,” said Brown. “The Philadelphia Youth Network and its incredible staff, partners and investors, have been improving the livelihood of Philadelphia’s youth for the past 15 years. I am thrilled to provide leadership as we continue this pinnacle work in the future.”
Stephanie Wall, Community Development Manager for the North East Region at Wells Fargo Government and Community Relations Group joined the Board at PYN in 2012.
“Since joining the board at PYN I’ve been inspired by the leadership and drive behind the entire organization,” said Wall. “I believe in their vision and mission, and I look forward to continuing to be part of such great work!”
